DSC06417OK, I know you are all looking at the title of this post and wondering how do you pronounce it. First Pszczyna is the name of atown, and the best way to pronounce it would be " PSHCHINA". It takes some practice, but I know you can do it! :)

After our visit to the gardens, it was time to get something to eat & visit the palace & park in Pszczyna. When we arrived it beatiful and sunny & folks were out and about checking out what was available at the flea market in the town square. My eye caught some beautiful old oil lamps that someone had. I wish I could have taken them home, but glass just does not fare that well in the cargo hold of the plane.

After our meal we got some icecream and took a walk around the palace grounds, but was quickly interupted by a pop up deluge of rain. Everyone ran for cover and huddled wherever they could. In about 20 minutes it was all over with and the sun came out in full. Despite a few times of pop up showers, the weather has been great during my visit "KNOCK ON WOOD".
