Rootstech - Smiles Everywhere

I took the opportunity today to visit all the booths at Rootstech. There were a lot of companies I had not heard of before so it was great to get acquainted with these companies. Some of my visits were to investigate their services further as I had already been eyeing them up. My questions were aways answered.

It was almost impossible not to see a smile on peoples faces. Although I suspect that it may have had something to do with the costume I was wearing. Yesterday I dressed up in my Sherlock Holmes outfit, and today I was wearing my Kujawy, the traditional Polish Folk costume of the region that my ancestors were from in Poland.

I think it would be wonderful to see more genealogists dress up in traditional costumes of their ancestors during conferences. Maybe I should make that a challenge. OK, all you genealogists.... lets see how many of you will dress up for upcoming conferences this year, and share your experiences with everyone.
