Research Costs

The Genealogy Assistant Research Services Costs

     Every research project is different. It is recommended that you contact me so I will understand the scope of your project.

     My time is for research, information analysis & report preparation, with recommendations for future research.

     Other expenses may be incurred, but it depends on what needs to be done for your project. Some examples of these expenses include travel expenses, photocopies, photographs, vital record fees, translation services, institutional entrance fees (unless I am already a member and have free entry) & postage.

     Once you have decided to have me research for you, the work will commence upon the receipt of the retainer and a signed agreement.


     After the purchased genealogy research hours are completed & any other expenses are paid in full, the results will be sent to you.

     I accept payment by PayPal (FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE) or payments in the form of cash, checks or money orders drawn on American banks and payable in American dollars. If you pay by check or money order, payments can be made out to "The Genealogy Assistant" and mailed to:
